And so it begins…

Seeds are started:
We have Italian broccoli, broccoli raab, English peas, Amish snap peas and artichokes started in the seed flats, with the first, small broccoli seedling unfurling as I type. We’ll sow successive trays two weeks apart for the next two months. We plan to start our first early tomatoes and peppers in two weeks, hoping to set them out early in the garden protected by wall-o’-waters. We’ll be doing comparison tests with regular transplants to see if we really achieve earlier harvest with this method.
Poultry is ordered:
Scheduled to arrive the second week of April:
Rouen duck
White Chinese Goose
Narragansett Turkey
Royal Palm Turkey
Slow Cornish meat birds
Delaware meat birds
Ameraucana laying hens
